As a Firm Manager, you can map Account Codes to Advisors who manage the accounts under those codes. If Advisors share Account Codes, you can also map Account Codes to more than one Advisor.

This is the first key step in getting your Advisors set up on CircleBlack Advisor.

In order to map Account Codes, you will need to have created all of your firm’s Advisors in Manage → Advisors → Add Advisor. If you are a firm manager with a book of business, you can also map Account Codes to your own Advisor ID.

The mapping process step-by-step instructions are listed below:

  1. Login to CircleBlack Advisor

  2. Click on the Manage tab in the Top Navigation menu

  3. Then click on Account Codes in the sub-menu

  4. In the Actions drop down, select Map Advisors

  5. Search for the Account Code(s) you wish to map. (Note: you can select more than one Account Code to map).

  6. Click the checkboxes to select the codes you wish to map.

  7. Then, click the button Select Advisors at the top of the Account Codes page

  8. A pop up window will provide you a list of the Advisors to which you can map the selected code. Find the Advisor you wish to map and click the Map Codes icon.

  9. Then, click Confirm to map the Account Code to the Advisor.

  10. Once the Account Code is mapped, you can view which Advisors are mapped to the Account Code by clicking on the Advisor icon under the Advisors column.

The next step is to Activate the Advisor so they can login to CircleBlack Advisor and begin the householding process.

From Manage → Advisors, click anywhere in the row for the Advisor. On the Advisor Info page, click the Activate Advisor button. This will activate the Advisor’s user ID and send them an email notification with login instructions and a system-generated temporary password. You, as firm manager, will also get a confirmation email that the Advisor has been activated.
