During the course of managing clients in a household at times, an Advisor is required to remove a client from a Household. This enhanced functionality will allow an Advisor user to remove a client from a household that could result in an empty household that will be deleted.
The functionality addressed here deals with:
- Removing the head of a household and specifying another client from this household as the new head of the household
- Deleting the empty household while removing the last active client from the household.
- Advisors cannot view the deleted household on their dashboard
The following describes the nuances associated with this process:
- Currently an advisor cannot remove clients out of a household that have aggregated accounts. This process will continue.
- Currently an advisor can remove only clients they manage. This process will continue.
- Currently a Firm Manager user can only remove the clients they manage in the household. This process will continue.
- If a household is deleted, none of the advisors who were managing this deleted household, can view the deleted household.
