Active Clients can be deactivated. They may or may not be part of a household. Some key aspects of this process includes:

  • only one client can be deactivated at a time

  • the accounts associated with the client will also be deactivated

  • when a client is deactivated the client remains deactivated for all advisors advising the client

  • the head of the household cannot be deactivated

  • only an active client can be deactivated

Flow 1: Manage → Clients page

  1. Click Manage then Clients. On the Clients page, click the Actions dropdown and Deactivate Client.

  2. Search for and select the active client to be deactivated. Click the radio button for the client.

  3. Select the Deactivate button that will be enabled once an active client is selected.

  4. In the Deactivate Client modal confirm by clicking on the Deactivate button. You will view a ClientDeactivated confirmation modal.

Flow 2: Manage → Clients → Client Info page

  1. Click Manage, then Clients. Search for the client to be deactivated. Click on the Client’s name to view the Client Info page.

  2. On the Client Info page, click the Deactivate button.

  3. In the Deactivate Client modal confirm by clicking on the Deactivate button. You will view a ClientDeactivated confirmation modal.
