CircleBlack provides you with the flexibility to fully customize your Advisor dashboards. This “How To” Guide will walk you through this simple process. You can move, resize, add, and remove the widgets on the Advisor, Household, and Account Dashboards

From any one of these three dashboards you will see an Edit Layout button in the upper right corner of your screen.

Clicking the Edit Layout button puts the dashboard in edit mode and you will see that a transparent filter now covers your screen and white indicators have appeared on all of the widgets on the page. In the top tool bar are four buttons:

Reset Layout - Pressing this button resets the dashboard to its default view.

Add - Pressing this button opens the “Add Widget” modal. If all the widgets to the dashboard are displayed, none will appear in the modal. Only widgets that have been hidden will be displayed. To add a widget back to the dashboard, select the checkbox next to the widget and press the “Add Selected” button.

Cancel - Pressing this button cancels your editing experience. Any changes you made will not be saved.

Save Layout - Pressing this button saves any changes you made to your Dashboard layout, including adding or hiding widgets.

You can drag, resize, and hide any of the widgets on the dashboard. Clicking and dragging on the white corner arrows allows you to resize a widget while clicking. Clicking the four-arrow icon in the interior of a widget allows you to drag it around the dashboard. Clicking the white “X” icon hides the widget from the dashboard.

Defaulting to Firm View or My Portfolio View
FIRM MANAGERS can specify if the Dashboard displays Firm View or My Portfolio View for Advisors so they can quickly go to the information that is most relevant. The new Preference is located in General Preferences section before “Default Document Vault View”.
