Investor Portal - Managed vs. Unmanaged

Investors using the investor portal can easily switch between views summarizing their account data based on whether accounts are “Managed” or “Unmanaged” by their advisor. Accounts are identifiable as “Managed” or “Unmanaged” through icons. 

Accounts are designated as Managed/Unmanaged based on defaults as described here. Firm managers can make adjustments on a per account bases which can be configured as described here

Advisors and Firm Managers can also select the default context for investors. 

 

Switching between views in the Investor Portal

The Portfolio and Accounts pages have a new drop-down menu for switching the view between “All Accounts,” “Managed Accounts,” or “Unmanaged Accounts,” as shown below.

Note: if the account type does not exist for the investor the screen will provide an option to View All Accounts. 

 

Icons for “Managed” and “Unmanaged” accounts

Accounts designated as “Managed” and “Unmanaged” are easily identifiable with simple icons.
